FESTIVAL UPDATE FROM THE CAPTAIN: February 2016

Hi All,

The Event planning is in full swing as we prepare to take over the stunning 65 acre site of Caldicot Castle.

We have a wide variety of some 30+ fantastic traders already signed up to be a part of this event, as well as over 200 pirates from across the globe to take the castle from the hands of the King and his friends.

The legendary (if not somewhat mythical) Crimson Moon tavern will be joining us for the weekend, armed with a selection of the finest wines and meads known to man!

The festival will feature several zones, including a full size Living History village – a place where you can meet the pirates, see how life was really like during the 18th Century, and who the pirates really were
.
We will also have a Children’s area, where there will be a range of activities for the young pirates, as well as a chance to meet some pirates from the silver screen and beyond!

Watch as the pirates engage in fierce battle with the King’s men to take control of the keep – there will be cannon fire, musketry and the clash of over 150 swords for you to cheer on.

The event has ample parking for everyone just a short walk away from the action zone.

The pirates can also be spotted in the local village – make sure you keep an eye on your gold!!

We also have some of the finest foods on sale known to man – From Succulent roast pork to fluffy jacket potatoes and vegetarian chili, plus all the smuggled tea’s and coffees you could wish for!

Keep your eyes peeled on our website – advanced tickets and special offers will be coming soon!

19th – 21st August, Caldicot Castle….

The pirates are coming….
